Before joining Chambers, Matthew worked at a Criminal Firm of solicitors as a Legal Assistant for 8 years in Keighley.  During which time he graduated from Leeds University with a degree in law. Member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks.

Outside of Chambers his interests include running, football, reading and playing the guitar.
