Charging Rates
Our charges for publicly funded work are based upon the graduated fee scales in force from time to time. In non-publicly funded cases are based on an hourly rate. The hourly rate is reached after considering a) seniority of counsel, b) the complexity, difficulty or novelty of the case, c) skill, specialism and responsibility, d) number and importance of documents prepared and perused, e) place and nature of hearing, f) importance to client, g) amount/value involved. A brief fee is reached by multiplying the hourly rate by the estimated amount of preparation plus an attendance fee. Upon receipt of the actual instructions or brief the charges will be discussed and agreed.

In all instructons where you are responsible for payment of our fees, payment is due within one month from the date of the fee note, unless otherwise agreed in writting. Payment of fees where a conditional fee agreement is in place becomes due within three calendar months of the case having been settled or determined.
