Pupillage and Recruitment
We will be recruiting for 1 Pupil through the Pupillage Portal in Summer 2011 for a pupillage in 2012. Applicants must have a 2:1 or above and BVC very competent or above (if completed). Applications are judged on the basis of quality of the application, motivation/commitment and personality/life experience. We offer 12 months guaranteed earnings £12,000 (being grant of £6,000 during 1st six and a loan of £6,000 during 2nd six)
Over the last 3 years we have offered 3 junior tenancies. We are a friendly and progressive set that recruits pupils with a view to tenancy.
Mini Pupillage
Chambers offers up to ten mini –pupillages each year. Applications are accepted between 1st September and 31st October by cv and covering letter emailed to Linda Cains, Director of Pupil Training, at LC@no37.co.uk. In early November the Pupillage Committee will meet to consider all applications, and will allocate mini pupillages for the following year. Chambers is only able to allocate mini pupillage to candidates studying at degree level or above. Mini pupillages are of three days’ duration, and are funded at the rate of £25 per day as a contribution towards expenses.
