Sarah has recently joined from Chambers in London and specialises in Childcare Law, primarily Public Law, but also has significant experience of Private Law disputes, often in the High Court and involving issues relating to removal from jurisdiction.
She has extensive experience acting for Parents, Local Authorities and Guardians, appearing in the County Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Re: B (2003) - acted for Local Authority where eldest child of the family made disclosures two years after her sister's death, which cast doubt on the original post mortem result of SIDS. The baby's body was exhumed, the parents were charged with murder and convicted of manslaughter. The case involved concurrent directions at the Old Bailey, Fact Finding and Disposal hearings. The father was represented by a Silk.
Re: A (2004) - Acted for a father accused of repeated sexual abuse of his two sons in a split hearing at both the Fact Finding and Disposal stage. The case involved conflicting medical evidence.
