Paul is predominantly a defence practitioner and practices exclusively in all types of serious crime, including serious sex offences, multi-handed drug cases, VAT and duty frauds, serious violence and murder.

His experience in fraud related cases include commercial fraud, money laundering, fraudulent trading and evasion of tax and VAT.

Paul also regularly acts for Police Officers in police misconduct hearings.

He appears in virtually every court on the North Eastern circuit and regularly in the Criminal Court of Appeal.

Paul undertakes the whole spectrum of criminal work. He has acted in cases of serious violence including murder and attempted murder. Serious sex offences, multi-handed drugs cases and VAT and duty frauds.
