Family/Child Care A Large part of Paul's practice is Family Law, undertaking both Private Law and Public Law Children matters. In financial proceedings he has experience in dealing with ancillary relief and disputes between unmarried couples, including applications under 514 of the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
Immigration Law Previously a member of the Immigration Advisory Service, Paul has extensive experience in asylum Appeals and Entry Clearance Appeals, (Family and Dependants, Students and Workers) at Adjudicator and IAT level
Employment Law Paul is also particularly interested in employment law, having acted for both applicants and respondent in the Employment Tribunal in the EAT and County courts. He is experienced in cases involving dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, victimisation and deduction from wages.
Property In property disputes, Paul deals in all areas of landlord and tenant, housing (TOLATA applications), co-habitation disputes claims under the inheritance act and contentious probate. Housing work includes all matters relating to the status and interpretation of tenancies, anti social behaviour and disrepair actions.
Personal Injury Paul regularly appears and advises in all manner of cases encompassing the whole ambit of personal injury litigation. He frequently represents claimants at interlocutory and final hearings in the following areas:
