Family/Childcare Law

Private Law
Cases concerning all aspects of the Children Act and Family Law Act in particular Finding of Fact in relation to allegations of sexual abuse and serious violence. He is regularly instructed in Removal from the Jurisdiction cases.

Public Law
Nicholas undertakes work in both in the County Court and High Court. He has been involved in all aspects of Child protection, Care and Adoption Proceedings, involving complex psychiatric, psychological and medical evidence.

Findings of Fact include identification of the perpetrator, re: sexual abuse, emotional harm, serous physical injuries, burns and infant death.

He has undertaken cases on behalf of parents (often with learning difficulties), Local Authorities, guardians and the Official Solicitor.
