Family/Childcare Law

Jonathan became a member of Chambers at the beginning of 2005 having previously qualified as a solicitor in 1995 practicing in East Yorkshire predominately in /family Law. Since that time he has focussed exclusively on Public Law Childrens work for parents and children's guardians. He gained the Children's Panel Member Qualification (Adult & Childrens Representation) in 2000.

Jonathan has represented Local Authorities and the Official Solicitor on a number of matters that have included Emergency Protection Orders, Secure Accommodation Orders, Care Orders and Freeing Proceedings.

Since joining 37 Park Square Chambers Jonathans practice has flourished and he is already running a number of long care cases acting for Local Authorities, Parents and Guardians.
