High profile cases include; R -v- Lee Clegg - Freddy was part of the defence team in the successful appeal against conviction in the Court of Appeal of Northern Ireland of a soldier accused of murder on patrol.
R -v- Robert Maudsley, represented the 'most dangerous killer in any English Prison', as described by prosecution counsel.
R -v- Farrow - part of the defence team in the case known as the 'Wakefield shoe fetish murder' of Wendy Speakes.
R -v- Stephen Downing - Freddy was appointed Chairman of the Independant Advisory Group set up to oversee the re-investigation by Derbyshire Police of the murder of Wendy Sewell, 27 years earlier.
R -v- Green - Leading Junior, an attempted murder with Freddy leading the defence team in a 'Hell's Angels initiation test'.
R -v- Devonshire - Defending a Youth in an attempted murder who had thrown a concrete slab off a Wakefield Shopping Centre.

R -v- Monks - Freddy appeared for the defence in an attempted rape by the defendant who already had five previous convictions of rape.
